¹. The application of the social bonus involves having a supply contract with the reference marketer to PVPC. The PVPC is regulated in Royal Decree 216/2014, of March 28, which establishes the methodology for calculating voluntary prices for the small consumer of electricity and its legal status of contracting.

Data of cohabitation unit

A COHABITATION UNIT, for the sole purposes of the application of the social bonus in the electricity bill, is understood to be that constituted by all the people who reside in the same household and who are related to each other by marriage or as a de facto couple under the terms of article 221.2 of the consolidated text of the General Law on Social Security, or related up to the second degree of consanguinity, affinity, adoption, and other persons with whom you live by virtue of custody for the purpose of adoption or permanent family fostering. Under no circumstances may the same person be part of two or more cohabitation units.

They should also process the other personal data provided for in Article 6 of the Ministerial Order implementing the Royal Decree regulating the figure of vulnerable consumers, the social bonus and other protection measures for domestic consumers of electricity, for the purposes of the application of the social bonus and other consequences provided for in these regulations, including the processing of this information, and of the personal data contained therein, for the purposes of recording in its computer and management systems the information necessary to apply the social bonus to the applicant, and any other consequences, where appropriate, which are regulated in the above-mentioned Royal Decree, as well as for the maintenance of the social bonus and other consequences, where appropriate, as long as the conditions that gave rise to the granting of the social bonus are maintained;

Where the minimum pension criteria are not met, if the first authorisation has also been indicated, there will also be verification of compliance with the income requirement using the application implemented for this purpose on the website of the Ministry of Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge.
